Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea Manager Revealed His View Towards the Carabao




Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea manager when addressing the press on his view on the victory over Tottenham
on the carabao cup semi-final 2nd leg at Stanford bridge that end on a 2-1 win for 90minutes, resulting to 2-2 draw on aggregate ,which went on to penalties shootout, which finally ended with the blues having the lead of 4-2.
Sarri said, “They acted very good and I was satisfied with tonight result. He said he wasn’t criticising the players but that they had an issue. He continues that the team needs to persistently show motivation in playing and that he has no complain in their performance in the game, i’m happy with their performances “he said.
“Sarri disclose to press that the carabao cup final clash against Man City won’t be an easy one, but him and his team will be happy to play in it”.
He moves on saying that Eden Hazard’s qualities are of more priority than his position on pitch.
In regard of the club performance on both first and second legs, he said that Chelsea was worthy of winning the tie, regardless of the penalties.
He said that he wasn’t felling nervous during the penalties shootout, even though his team performance and the outcome of the shootout was of great importance”.
