Beware Of These 5 Habits You May Unconsciously Cultivate From Social Media

Constant use of the social media networks may bring about some attitudes in our lives which were not actually there before, and as time pass by people unconsciously cultivate these habits and it becomes hard for them to avoid these habits because it had become a part of them since they have made it a repetitive exercise to engage in daily.
1)  WASTING YOUR PRECIOUS TIME
A lot of people stay online on social media networks like Facebook for longer hours during the day engaging in conversations that doesn't really add values to their lives instead of concentrating on how to make every hour of their life count.
2)  BAD SPELLING HABIT
Over the years people have grown into the habits of short spellings (e.g where as were, thanks as tanks, Good as Gud etc) some students become so use to this spelling habit that they start making errors in their jamb examinations or WAEC as they write this short spellings in their answer sheet at times while trying to answer their question, undoubtedly this will reduce their mark.
Furthermore people have cultivated this spelling habits on social media to the extent that dull kids who can't spell very well never bothered to master the correct spellings as they already know that they can chat with anyone online with their cultivated short spelling habit.
3)  YOU SPEND LESS TIME FOCUSING ON YOUR REAL ENVIRONMENT AND SPEND MUCH TIME ON YOUR VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT
You hardly know what goes on in your real environment, you hardly create time to gist and hangout with your friends in the hood, since you're already occupied on Facebook and finding that conversation you're having with a Facebook friend interesting you feel there's no need to check on the ones around you
4)  YOU LOSE THE SKILL OR ABILITY TO CREATE AND SUSTAIN REAL LIFE RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUR NEIGHBOURS IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT
Due to the fact that some of us can easily find someone to talk to on social media which are usually strangers or friends at longer distance we often neglect making efforts to connect with the ones in our neighbourhood, we don't want to go through the stress of trying to win their attention thereby isolating ourselves to a certain level in our neighbourhood.
5)  INCREASE IN YOUR LEVEL OF ADULTERY
As odd as this may sound but it's true, you go through the "people you may know" section of Facebook, you see an attractive fellow of the opposite sex, you add them up, you demand to meet them, they agree, you eventually meet and start engaging in some unfaithful activities, you find these tasks so easy then you make it a regular routine with different people, then you're no longer faithful to that your main partner.
Though cultivating these habits mentioned above depends on your own mindset of using social media, you could use social media and not corrupt yourself or waste your precious time, it all depends on your approach.
