What is the essence of the book you know when you can’t help others with it? There are many ways you can make money in school and this is one of the best.
Whatever course you are studying, there is another student out there willing to pay for the knowledge. So, you can help others by teaching them while you get paid for it.
There are several tutorials available to you as a student. Some of them include:
Home tutoring: This is where you teach students subjects/courses at home. It may be a primary or secondary school student. It may as well be in a tertiary level.
School tutoring: Here, the service is rendered in the school. Usually, this will work out during breaks unless you are running a part-time program in school or where you work.
Online tutoring: There are some online platforms where you can teach students virtually and you get paid for it.
2. Blogging/Vlogging
Blogging is getting more and more exposure every day. If you have can write interesting content, why don’t you learn Search Engine Optimisation (S.E.O) and set up a blog today.
I am a blogger too and it has been a passive source of income. You can earn from blogging form Google ads, sponsored posts, paid ads e.t.c.
On the other hand, Video blogging also called Vlogging deals with posting video on YouTube. This is not very common in Nigeria yet and you have a better chance. All you need is an idea, something to make videos and some knowledge on video editing.

You know girls can make hair for the whole universe. If you have interest in this, why don’t you learn how to make it too?
If you live in the school hostel, this is a very big advantage for you. A lot of students would rather patronize you when you can easily do it in their room rather than them going some far distances.
So, if you are very good at this, you are definitely going to make money as a student.

In 3 months, you can learn how to barb and be very good at it. A have a number of friends who are earning very well from this even before gaining admission.
Now, imagine how much you can make after gaining admission when you have a lot of friends who will always want to have their hair-cut.

After seeing this point, some people will start thinking about people studying computer science/engineering. The truth is that you don’t need to study any of this courses before you learn how to design a website.

This is another good one. If you know how to make beautiful dresses, then you can make money as a student making some.
The only problem is that you have to consider if you will be able to manage it with academics as this may be time-consuming.
8. Affiliate Marketing
Do you know people make money as Jumia agent? This is a typical example of what affiliate marketing is about.
There are many companies that will pay you a discount for helping them sell their product. You can register as an affiliate marketer, advertise their products, sell and in return you get a fixed discount for every product you sell.
