Top 5 Talented Artistes That Were Under-rated In 2018 But To Watchout For In 2019

2018 was a year of many hits but sadly the industry is still not appreciating talented acts who are not involving themselves with the Zanku madness.
This is sincerly a sad one because Nigerian are not appreciating “creative talents” with good vocal prowess.
The shaku shaku vibes actually destructed the airwaves and the attention of people from discovering some classic content creators who can compete in the global market and further give Nigeria the needed accolades to continue progressing on the global music radar
Below are 5 top talented act with amazing musical contents but were underrated in 2018 but will eventually shine in 2019 now that Nigerians are getting tired of the shaku shaku trend already.

1. Qdot

This year, Qdot has put out some fantastic music works but he seems not to be getting much deserved attention for his efforts so far all because the industry has been littered with noisy shaku-shaku songs.
The Yorubadboi Music boss started off the year with Atewowhich was nothing but a banger, few months later Qdot felt the need to reclaim his king  kingship among fellow indegeneous acts when he dropped “Aare” which was also massively dope a song.
His most recent joint, “Gbese” was an attempt to tap from trending Shaku-Shaku lamba and obviously he did it better than the so-called Shaku-Shaku and Zanku Artistes.
No doubt, 2018 has been unfair to Qdot and we believe next year is going to be better for him.

2. Oyinkanade

He is a project fame season 5 superstar with amazing music talent. He is a versatile artiste who can switch between alternative porche sound to a street vibe.
His hit song “Adura” featuring Olamide and his “Japa” freestyle further confirms the claim that Oyinkanade is an all-round entertainer.
This year alone, Oyinkanade has released some music materials worth listening to. His song “Ayo (My Prayer)” that dropped early this year is a soul-lifting prayer for success.
July this year, Oyinkanade did “Japa Freestyle” for the Street which is way better than Small Doctor’s version.
His latest single “Sweetim” is a beautiful love song that must be on everyone’s playlist.

3. Ric Hassani

If artistes like Adekunle GoldSimi are making the top spots on the music radar, it’s just unfair to keep Ric Hassani behind.
He’s got the voice, the lyrics and every other thing that make up a perfect alternative act.
His song “Sweetest Thing” with Fiokee and “Believe” which he featured Falz and Olamide is a good example of the fact that Ric Hassani is getting less attention than he deserves in the industry.

4. Davolee

Davolee became under-rated when he started following trends of street shaku-shaku vibes noticeable on his 2017 songs “Cirocing” and “Oya Gbeff“.
Just when we think he’s got nothing to offer after his debut single “Festival Bar“, Davolee bounced back in 2018 proving to everyone that he can combine singing with his story-telling rap skills.
After he found way with the release of his latest single “Way” we cannot but expect bigger songs from Davolee come 2019.

5. Erigga

The only place Erriga is getting much deserves accolades for his creative music talents and his efforts this year is the southern part of the country where he is from.
The truth is Erriga deserves more than the recognition he his getting now in the industry.
His 2018 songs “Kettle (Story Of Okiemute)” and “Motivation” among others are good songs.
The End!!!
